Will EVs be important for self-driving cars / ridesharing?

It appears that the EV (electric vehicle) revolution is happening at the same time as the rapid development of self-driving technology. Will EVs have any advantages over ICE (internal combustion engine, i.e. gas) cars if self-driving becomes a reality?
